Everett Football Falls to Taunton

The Everett High School football team fell to Taunton, 47-18, Friday night on the Tigers’ home field.

Things started on a bright note for Coach Rob DiLoreto’s Crimson Tide when Armani Negron caught a 17-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Tyler Freni in the first quarter.

But the hosts responded with six unanswered touchdowns during the rest of the first half.

Joao Barreiros (2-yard run) and Jamauri Dulin (15-yard pass reception from Jeremiah Clark) scored Everett’s touchdowns in the second half.

Everett (2-3) is idle this week, before returning to paly at Haverhill Oct. 17. Everett Homecoming Day is Saturday, Oct. 25.
