Peter Forte, known to many as the “Bill Belichick of Youth Football” in recognition of his amazing record of success, has joined the coaching staff at Everett High School.
Crimson Tide head coach Rob DiLoreto has announced that Forte will return to the program as a freshman football coach. Forte will join longtime youth sports leader Jay Holt (who was DiLoreto’s teammate and classmate at Everett High) and former Everett High standout Dylan Cyprien on the freshman staff.
Forte, whose three sons, Peter, Joe, and J.W., were captains in the EHS program, is a master of the fundamentals and a superb in-game technician. He guided Everett Crimson Tide Pop Warner football teams to national, regional, and state titles – while maintaining the city’s reputation as a football powerhouse at all levels. Everett youth teams have moved to the American Youth Football and Cheer organization for the 2025 season.
The other assistant coaches on the Everett High School football staff are Duane Sigsbury, Malik Love, Claudy St. Juste, Joe LaMonica, Robbie Riobe, Erick Brown, Jason Portillo, Gerell Boyce, and John Romboli, and Sid Shrestha. CarolLyn Manuel will be the program’s equipment manager.
The Tide will begin preseason practices on Friday, Aug. 15. Everett opens the regular season on Friday, Sept. 5 against Medford at Everett Veterans Memorial Stadium.
