Mayor Carlo DeMaria and The Council on Aging have invited Everett’s own Christine Falzarano to The Connolly Center to discuss how and why seniors are begin targeted by scammers. This presentation will keep you updated on the current scamming trends geared toured seniors. The list of the most common scams include; Medicare, The Grandparent scam, lottery/sweepstakes winnings, internet scams and so many more. Technology Classes are Back for Seniors
Mayor Carlo DeMaria and The Council on Aging have partnered with CHA to offer seniors on going free classes to become “Tech-Savvy”. Classes take place at 11am on Tuesdays at The Connolly Center. You will learn how to download apps, connect with family and friends via video, set up emails, search the internet and so much more. Please bring your device of choice with you; a tablet, Smartphone, lap top or any other portable tech device, to The Connolly Center and we will be happy to be of assistance. November Senior Social Welcomes Everett High School Graduating Class of 1971
Mayor Carlo DeMaria and The Council on Aging would like to extend an invitation to Everett High School‘s graduating class of 1971 in celebration of their 50th year. Our event takes place Wednesday November 17, 2021 beginning at 12 noon, Anthony’s Restaurant, 105 Canal Street in Malden. You will enjoy a delicious Thanksgiving Dinner with all the fixings, along with dancing to The Palace’s own Dj Chris Fiore and The Ray Cavicchio Band. Vaccine Clinic Scheduled at Connolly Center
Mayor Carlo DeMaria and The Council on Aging have partnered with Cambridge Health Alliance to offer a COVID 19 Vaccine Clinic, for those that have not been vaccinated. Our event takes place, Wednesday November 3, 2021 from 9am until 11am at The Connolly Center located at 90 Chelsea Street in Everett. Please use front entrance of building for clinic.
