What do you do in the City?
“Parking Enforcement Officer. I am also the Shop Steward and I volunteer at the Food Pantry. My job is to write tickets for parking violations. I also get dispatched for calls that include blocked driveways, corner violations, and street cleaning.”
What is your favorite part about working for the City?
“I like being out there with the people in the community. There’s really nothing better than that.”
What is the biggest lesson you’ve learned from your role?
“There have been many lessons over the years, but I would have to say be kind to people out there and treat them with respect. You never know what is going on in their lives.”
What do you like to do when you are not working?
“I spend a lot of time with my family. I also assist with coaching my twins’ softball team and I am active with the Boy Scouts with my son.”
