With Memorial Day exercises canceled, volunteers converged on the cemetery early on Monday to mark the graves of veterans so they could be honored in some fashion to replace the traditional ceremonies.
Volunteer Nick Bertone – who normally runs the Wellness Center – places a flag on the grave of a veteran in Glenwood Cemetery on Monday morning prior to heading into work.
