Fiorindo Antonelli
Retired Barber and Former Facilities Manager for Everett Cooperative Bank
Fiorindo N. “Fred” Antonelli of Everett entered into eternal rest on Sunday, Aug. 4 in St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center in Brighton surrounded by his loving family. He was 76 years old.
Born in Orsogna, Italy, Fred lived in Everett for most of his life. He worked for many years as a professional barber at the Avenue Barber Shop in Lexington and the Heights Barber Shop in Arlington before his retirement. He also worked at the Everett Co-Operative Bank as their facilities manager for many years. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam Era.
The beloved husband of Maryann T. (Rizzo) for over 47 years, he was the dear and devoted father of Philip Antonelli and his wife, April of Everett, Christopher Antonelli and his wife, Nadiah of Hong Kong, Gregory Antonelli and his wife, Caryn of Lynnfield and Lisa Antonelli of Everett; brother of Joanne “Gianna” LoGrasso and her husband, George of Stoneham, the late Maria D’Alleva, Ida Scarinci and her surviving husband, Andrea of Everett and Vincenza Terenzi and her surviving husband, Domenic of Florida. He was the brother-in-law of George and Ollie Rizzo of Stoneham and Richard and Jackie Rizzo of Andover and loving grandfather of Alessandra and Nicolas Antonelli, Kaigo and Adriana Antonelli and Giuliana, Gabriela and Genaro Antonelli.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Fred’s visiting hours in the Cafasso & Sons Funeral Home, 65 Clark St. (Corner of Main St.) Everett on Friday, Aug. 9 from 4 to 8 p.m. His funeral will be held from the funeral home on Saturday, Aug. 10 at 9 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass in the Sacred Hearts Church, 315 Main St., Malden at 10 a.m. Interment with U.S. Army Military Honors will be at Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden. Contributions in Fred’s memory to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, P.O. Box 849168, Boston, MA 02285-9168 would be sincerely appreciated. Parking with attendants on duty.
Helen Fabiano
Of Everett
Helen M. (Maffeo) Fabiano, a longtime resident of Everett, entered into eternal rest on Friday, Aug. 2. She was 95 years old.
Born in Boston, the beloved wife of the late Anthony J. for over 74 years, she was the dear and devoted mother of Anthony L. Fabiano and his wife, Cheryl of Alaska, Lorraine Haggerty and Lois Arsenault and her husband, Laurie Joseph of Everett; sister of the late Frank Maffeo, Lena Abbondanzio, Margaret Noble, Edith Zelandi, Mary Glowski, Frances Conn and Rose Clouthier. Helen was the loving grandmother of six and loving great-grandmother of eight.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Helen’s visitation and funeral from the Cafasso & Sons Funeral Home, 65 Clark St. (Corner of Main St.) Everett on Thursday, Aug. 8 at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass in the Immaculate Conception Church, 487 Broadway, Everett at 11 a.m. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Helen’s memory to the Alzheimer’s Association, 309 Waverley Oaks Road, Waltham, MA 02452 would be sincerely appreciated. (Parking with attendants on duty.)
Loretta Andreottola
Of Revere
Loretta “June” (McCaffrey) Andreottola of Revere passed away at home on Aug. 2 surrounded by her loving family at the age of 92.
She was the beloved wife of the late Michael “Tucker” Andreottola, devoted mother of Bobby Casella and his wife, Rose, Karen Andreottola, both of Revere and the late June McGrath; cherished grandmother of Bobby Casella, Amber Cunningham and Jenna, Mark and Michael and adoring great grandmother of Elina and Jack Casella; the dear sister of Lorraine Padulla and her late husband, Frank and the late Claire, Eleanor, William, Howard, Paul, Audrey, Robert, Annette and Donald. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and friends.
A visitation will be held at the Paul Buonfiglio & Sons-Bruno Funeral Home, 128 Revere St., Revere on Thursday, Aug. 8 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. followed by a Prayer Service in the Funeral Home at 12 noon. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery.
