Michael Annese Jr.

Of Everett

Michael Annese Jr. of Everett died on July 24.

He was the son of the late Michael and Josephine (Cassara), brother of Patricia Forgione of Lynnfield and the late, Beverly He is also survived by his nephew, Steven Forgione and his wife, Lynne of Lynnfield and niece, Charlene Conway and her husband, Michael of North Reading and four grandnephews: Michael, Nicholas, Matthew and Jake.

A Private Family Service is planned for next week. In Michael’s memory, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 22478, Oklahoma City, OK 73123.

Dolores Marie Gaglione

US Postal Service Retiree 

Dolores Marie Gaglione of Revere, formerly of Everett and Medford, entered into eternal rest on Saturday afternoon, July 20 at the Spaulding Hospital in Cambridge surrounded by her loving family.  She was 72 years old.

Born in Malden, the daughter of the late Michael Gaglione, Sr. and Annette M. (Tammaro), Dolores grew up in Everett and attended grammar school in Everett Public Schools.  She graduated from Our Lady of Nazareth High School, formerly in Wakefield, Class of 1964.  After high school, Dolores attended a two year program at Carnegie Institute in Boston to receive a certificate in phlebotomy.  She began her career as a phlebotomist at the Carney Hospital in Dorchester and later worked at the Somerville Hospital.  

In 1980, Dolores began working as a letter sorting machine operator for the US Postal Service.  Over the course of her career she worked at the General Mail Facility in Boston and the Incoming Mail Center in Chelsea.  She dedicated over 30 years of service before retiring from the Post Office in 2013.  

Dolores has been a long time Revere resident, but prior to living in Revere she resided in Medford for 30 years.  During her retirement she enjoyed playing at the casino and playing bocce on Revere Beach.  More importantly, she enjoyed her large family and being an aunt to her nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.  She will be greatly missed by all her family and friends.

She was the beloved sister of Michael Gaglione, Jr. and his wife, Maureen of Wilmington and Robert Gaglione and his wife, Lorraine of Peabody and is also lovingly survived by five nieces and nephews: Michele O’Donoghue and her husband, Denis, Michael Gaglione III and his wife, Kim, Lisa Crivello and her husband, Michael, Pamela Lepore and her husband, Joseph and Marc Gaglione and six great nieces and five great nephews.  

Funeral arrangements were by the Carafa Family Funeral Home, Chelsea.  Interment was at Woodlawn Cemetery in Everett.

Maryann Rindone

Everett Public School Teacher

Maryann (Mietus) Rindone of Everett passed away on July 26 at the Kaplan House in Danvers at the age of 64.

Maryann was born in New Bedford on May 11, 1955, one of three children of the late Alfred E. Mietus and Mary (Pokornicki) Mietus. She lived in New Bedford and Fairhaven before moving to the Boston area many years ago.

Maryann taught for over 30 years in local parochial schools, including Our Lady of Grace in Everett and St. Stanislaus in Chelsea, where she also served as vice-principal. She was currently employed by the Everett Public Schools at the Madeline English School.

Maryann loved to travel and visited many states from coast to coast as well as Alaska and Hawaii. She was especially proud of her Polish Heritage.

The loving wife of John C. Rindone for the last 25 years, she was the sister of Alfred T Mietus of Everett and the late Paul Mietus and the step-mother of John W. Rindone and James Barker of Medford and Jason Barker of Revere.

Visiting hours will be held at the Murphy O’Hara Funeral Home, 519 Broadway, Everett, today, Wednesday. from 4 to 7pm.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday at 11 a.m. in St. Mary’s Church, 440 Main St., Fairhaven and interment will follow in Sacred Heard Cemetery #2, 559 Mount Pleasant St., New Bedford.
