Pope John XXIII High School has raised $73,000 in its ongoing fundraising drive to keep the school in operation for the 2019-20 academic year.
The school is facing a deadline by the Archdiocese of Boston to have commitments of $1.5 million by May 23.
“We have some meetings scheduled with stakeholders,” said Kelleyrobin Mulvihill, the school’s director of advancement.
Mulvihill said the school has a working committee of four alumni who have drafted a strategic plan for the future of the school. They are Robert Sobolewski, Patrick Jancsy, Dennis Leonard, Mark Leonard, and Dan Sutherby.
