Everett Independent Newspaper Presents Scholarships to Four Everett High Graduates

The Everett Independent newspaper presented scholarships to four members of the Everett High School Class of 2018:

Following is information about the four recipients, who will be continuing their education in college:

 

Benjamin Cvitkusic is a member of the National Honor Society.

Vice President of the Student Ambassadors

Third Place in Engineering in the Science Fair

Member of the Computer Club

On the EHS track team, baseball team

Science Fair Judge

Has a GPA of 3.87 and ranked 74th out of 501

Will be attending Suffolk University in the fall majoring in Business.

 

Yamiley Dangerville is a member of the National Honor Society.

Class Secretary Junior and Senior year

President of the Haitian Club

Excellence, Honor, Success Award

Student Ambassador

Member of the Haitian Club, Key Club, Dance Club, and Student Council

Has a GPA of 3.75 and ranked 88th out of 501

Will be attending UMass/Dartmouth in the fall majoring in Health Sciences.

 

Nayelle Louis is a member of the National Honor Society.

Member of the Kiwanis Club, Haitian Club

Student Ambassador

Indoor/outdoor track

Has a GPA of 3.86 and ranked 74th out of 501

Will be attending UMass/Amherst in the fall majoring in Business Administration.

 

Luiza Oliveira is a member of the National Honor Society.

Vice President of the Italian Honor Society

Selected to the Homecoming Court

Intern in the Allied Health Academy

Speaker at the Mayor’s Innauguration

Has a GPA of 4.2 and ranked 30th out of 501

Majoring in PreMed or Nursing undecided in which college she will attend

She was accepted at UMass/Boston, Regis, Merrimack, Mount Ida, Salem State, SNHU, Emmanuel and Newbury.
