Don Barry

Of Somerville

Don Barry of Somerville died on October 25.

Beloved husband for 62 years to Jean M. (Ventura), he was the loving father of Donnie Barry and his wife, Phyllis of Somerville and the late Steven M. Barry.

A wake service was held at the Salvatore Rocco and Sons Funeral Home, Everett followed by interment at Holy Cross Cemetery in Malden. Vincenza Terenzi

Retired Whidden Memorial Hospital  transporter

Vincenza (Antonelli) Terenzi of Boynton Beach, FL, formerly of Everett, entered into rest on Thursday, October 26 in the Del Ray Medical Center in Del Ray Beach, Florida. She was 82 years old.

Vincenza was born in Orsogna, Abruzzo, Italy and lived in Everett for many years before settling in Boynton Beach, Florida. She was a hospital transporter, retiring from the Whidden Memorial Hospital after many years of transporting patients from one location in the hospital to another.

The beloved wife of Domenic Terenzi for over 55 years, she was the dear and devoted mother of Donato Terenzi of Florida, Vincent Terenzi and his wife, Kimberly of Tewksbury and Tina Terenzi of Florida; sister of Fred Antonelli and his wife, Maryann, Joanne LoGrasso and her husband, George and the late Ida Scarinci and her surviving husband, Andrea and Maria D’Alleva; loving “Nana” of Brandon MacCuish, Bianca Terenzi and Alyssa Greco. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.

Funeral arrangements were by the Cafasso & Sons Funeral Home, Everett. Entombment was in Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum, Malden.

Ernest Sordillo

Retired City of Everett Director of Public Welfare

Ernest C. Sordillo of Everett entered into eternal rest on Monday, October 30 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was 94 years old.

Ernie was born in and a lifelong Everett resident. He was a US Navy veteran of World War II and retired from the City of Everett as Director of Public Welfare after many years of service.

The beloved husband of Genevieve L. (Boudreau) for over 69 years, he was the dear and devoted father of Ernest P. Sordillo and his companion, Kelly Doherty of Everett; brother of the late Angelo, Joseph, Arthur and Anthony Sordillo; loving “Grampy” of Marissa Sordillo Gunn and her husband, Timothy and Gregory Sordillo, all of East Boston and “Great-Grampy” of Giacobe Gunn. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Ernest’s visiting hours in the Cafasso & Sons Funeral Home, 65 Clark St. (Corner of Main St.) Everett on Thursday, November 2 from 4 to 7 p.m. His funeral will be from the funeral home on Friday at 9 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Anthony’s Church, 38 Oakes St., Everett, at 10 a.m. Interment with U.S. Navy Military Honors will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett. Contributions in Robert’s memory to the Wounded Warrior Project, 150 Cambridge Park Dr., Ste. 202, Cambridge, MA 02140 would be sincerely appreciated.

Patricia ‘Pat’ Fialli

Of Everett

Patricia A. “Pat” (Johnson) Fialli of Everett died on October 29.

The beloved wife of Joseph “Joe,” she was the mother of Joseph and his wife, Tracy of Reading, Mark and his wife, Pamela of North Reading, Robert and his wife, Dawn of Everett, Patricia Filippone and her husband, Gerald of Saugus and Maureen Garvey and her husband, John of Plymouth; sister of the late Frank E. Johnson and Fred Johnson; sister-in-law of the late Angelina and Michael Fialli. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren: Joanna, Andrea, Stephen, Jennifer, Michael, Lindsay, RJ and Lauren Fialli, Mikayla, Alison, and Alyssa Filippone, John Louis and Alick Garvey.

Her Funeral will be from the Salvatore Rocco and Sons Funeral Home, 331 Main St., Everett, Friday, November 3 at 10:45 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Joseph’s Church, Malden at 12 noon. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Visiting hours will be Thursday from 3 to 7 p.m. Complimentary valet parking will be available at the Funeral Home during Thursday’s visiting hours. Entombment will be in the Woodlawn Mausoleum, Everett.
