Gertrude ‘Gertie’ Green

Of Everett

Gertrude “Gertie” (Hamor) Green of Everett died on August 10.

She was the beloved wife of the late James E. Green; loving mother of Holly Garrity and her husband, Gary, Susan Marchant and her husband, Michael and Patrick Green and his wife, Valerie; beloved stepmother of Billy Green and his wife, Pam, Elnora Hughes and his wife, Pat and the late Michael Green and loving sister of Cecelia Mace. She is also survived by 13 beloved grandchildren and many loving great-grandchildren.

Funeral arrangements were by the Salvatore Rocco & Sons Funeral Home, Everett. A Graveside Service was held at Puritan Lawn Cemetery in Peabody on Monday, August 14. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimers’ Assoc., 480 Pleasant St., Watertown 02472.

Jeannine Laurent

She was happiest when caring for others 

Jeannine Laurent of Everett passed away unexpectedly in Port-Au-Prince, Haiti, Friday, July 28. She was 76 years old.

Jeannine worked as a dietary aide in the Cambridge Rehabilitation and Nursing center. Caring for others is what made her most happy. The beloved daughter of the late Normil and Trecile (Nicolas) Laurent of Haiti, she was the dear and devoted mother of Roland Rigaud and his wife, Jasmis of Woburn, Franz Laurent of Florida and Raymonde Rigaud of Everett; loving grandmother of eight and great grandmother of two.

A Funeral Mass was celebrated in the Immaculate Conception Church, Everett. Interment was in Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.

Dorothy Mancini

Of Lynnfield

Dorothy E. (Lessard) Mancini of Lynnfield died on August 7.

The beloved wife of Peter D., she was the mother of Peter M. of Tennessee, Todd A. and his wife, Lisa of Groton and Beth Tashjian and her husband, Robert of Lynnfield; sister of Carol Tumulty of New Hampshire and Lawrence Lessard of Marblehead. She is also survived by four grandchildren: Robert, Isabella, Henry and David.

Arrangements were by the Salvatore Rocco & Sons Funeral Home, Rocco-Carr-Henderson Funeral Services, Everett. Interment was in the Forest Hill Cemetery, Lynnfield. Donations in Dorothy’s memory may be made to the charity of your choice.  For additional information, visit: www.roccofuneralhomes.com
