Everett Police and the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office last week announced the arrest of three additional individuals who were involved in the murder and armed robbery of a 21-year-old male from Stoneham in November.
Arrested were Telecia Jean-Simon, 19, Nicole Woods, 40, and Maurice Vance, 22 of Everett. All three individuals were arrested on warrants as a result of the continuing investigation. With the arrest of Jean-Simon, Woods and Vance the Everett Police and Massachusetts State Police assigned to the Middlesex County District Attorney’s Office, have made a total of five arrests in this case.
Jean-Simon was arrested Dec. 22 on a warrant for Accessory After the Fact (Murder) issued by Malden District Court.
On Dec. 23, police arrested Woods on a warrant for Accessory After the Fact (Murder) issued by Woburn District Court, and Vance on a warrant for Intimidation of a Witness issued by Malden District Court.
The investigation and arrests stem from an armed robbery that occurred on Sunday, Nov. 6, when Gary Duff-Turcotte of Stoneham was shot during the robbery and later died at CHA Everett.
Judge William Fitzpatrick ordered the defendant held on $65,000 bail. Judge Fitzpatrick also ordered, if the defendant posts bail, to stay away from and have no contact with any witnesses in the case, to remain under house arrest and be subject to GPS monitoring.
Woods and Vance were scheduled to be arraigned this week Malden District Court.
