Ella Jade O’Donnell

Proud member of the North Shore Dance Academy, Scarlet Dance Team

Ella Jade O’Donnell of Peabody died on November 4 after a courageous 11 month battle with brain cancer.  She was 10 years old.

A proud member of the North Shore Dance Academy, Scarlet Dance Team, Ella was the daughter of Dennis and Erin (Sandquist) O’Donnell, sister of Sydney Lynn; granddaughter of John and Karen Sandquist of Peabody, formerly of Melrose, and the late Dennis and Theresa O’Donnell; niece of Sean O’Donnell, Christine Breen, Celeste Marquise and Carrie Connor. She also leaves seven cousins and the countless lives that she touched.

Her Funeral will be held on Thursday, November 10 from St. Ann’s Church, 140 Lynn Street, Peabody at 9:30 a.m.  A Mass of Christian Burial will immediately follow at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Visiting hours will also be in St. Ann’s Church today, Wednesday, from 3 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in Ella’s memory may be made to Ella’s Army Fund, TD Bank, 79 Lynnfield Street, Peabody, MA 01960  Interment will be in the Cedar Grove Cemetery, Peabody. Beverly Lee O’Connor

Former Everett resident

Beverly Lee (Shannon) O’Connor, formerly of Everett, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on October 29.

Beverly was the beloved wife for almost 60 years to the late John P. O’Connor;  the loving mother of Kathleen Sullivan and her late husband, Peter of Barnard, Vermont, Carol O’Connor and her partner, Neal Vandewalle of San Diego, California, and Shawn O’Connor and his wife, Laura of Middleboro. Beverly was also the beloved sister of the late Barbara McIsaac of Bellingham. “Nana” Beverly was especially proud of and dearly loved four grandchildren: Peter Sullivan and his wife, Dana of Marblehead, Laura Sullivan of Derry, NH, Kayla O’Connor of Providence, RI and Kyle O’Connor of Middleboro. She was also the loving great grandmother of Carter Caroline, Peter Broden and Nolan Patrick Sullivan, all of Marblehead.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to help celebrate Beverly’s life. Visiting hours will be held at the Rocco Funeral Home, 331 Main St. Everett today, Wednesday, November 9 from 3 to 7 p.m. Her funeral will be held at the Rocco Funeral Home on Thursday, November 10 at 9 a.m. followed by a Mass of Catholic Burial at St. Anthony’s Church, 38 Oakes St. Everett at 10 a.m. Following the Mass, interment will take place at the Holy Cross Cemetery in Malden.  In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in Beverly’s name / memory to: The Resident Activities Fund, Island Terrace Nursing Home, 57 Long Point Rd., Lakeville, MA. 02347.
