Homecoming Festivities Are Set for This Saturday

The Everett High School Homecoming Festivities truly set Everett apart for communities across the Commonwealth.

The festivities begin with an all-you-can-eat breakfast (for only $5) and road race followed by the annual parade (at 1 p.m.), pre-game entertainment inside Everett Veterans Memorial Stadium, and the Central Catholic-Everett football game (at 5 p.m.).

There is a very special dedication that will occur prior to the football game and we encourage fans to get there early. Everett will honor one of its greatest players, Dan Ross, who went on to excel in the Northeastern University football program and in the National Football League for the Cincinnati Bengals, setting a Super Bowl record for pass receptions.

Supt. of Schools Frederick Foresteire always conducts a wonderful Homecoming Day and thousands of Everett residents show their support with their attendance at the various events, culminating with the football game at Everett Veterans Memorial Stadium.

Homecoming has become one of the most enjoyable days of the year for Everett residents. This year’s event will add to its glorious tradition. We encourage Everett residents to be a part of all the festivities and to join Supt. Foresteire and school officials in paying tribute to the late Dan Ross, a true EHS sports legend who represented our city so well during his illustrious football career.
