John R. Bartolo of Everett entered into rest on Thursday, September 10 at home. He was 60 years old.
Born in Malden, John lived in Everett for most of his life and was the proprietor of an interior design company.
He was the beloved son of Jerry J. and the late Sally D. (Mulkerin) Bartolo; dear and devoted brother of Gerald M. Bartolo of Everett and Michael T. Bartolo and his wife, Maureen of Woburn; loving uncle of Gerald, Jr., Vanessa, Bridget, Maeve, Nora and David Bartolo.
His funeral service will be held from the Cafasso & Sons Funeral Home, 65 Clark St. (Corner of Main St.) Everett, today, Wednesday at 11 a.m. Interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden. Contributions in John’s memory to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701, would be sincerely appreciated.

Mildred Goudey
Everett Veterans Service Office and Glenwood Cemetery secretary and superintendent retiree
Mildred J. (Comeford) Goudey, formerly of Everett and most recently of Lenox, MA, died peacefully on August 20 in Vallejo, CA where she was residing with her daughter and daughter-in-law since September of 2014.
Born in 1920, she celebrated her 95th birthday on May 12, 2015.
Mildred worked for the City of Everett for 37 years in the Office of Veterans Service and as Secretary of Glenwood Cemetery, from which she retired as Superintendent. She was the Past-President of Everett Emblem Club No.32 and Past-President of the American Legion Auxiliary No. 176 and Treasurer and President of the Walking Club of Everett Armory. Beloved by many, Millie was a devoted fan of the New England Patriots and the Boston Red Sox.
She was the daughter of Jack C. Comeford and Jennie Lindsay Comeford; sister of Robert L. Comeford of New Hampshire and Edward P. Comeford of Venice, Florida and the late Jack C. Comeford. She leaves behind her daughter, The Reverend Dr. June C. Goudey of Vallejo, CA and her wife, Ann Feaver; her son Richard A. Goudey of Lenox, MA and his wife, Emilie and two grandchildren: James A. Goudey of Fort Worth, TX and his wife, Despina, and Lisa M. Goudey of Lenox, MA.
A viewing for family and friends will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, September 17 at the Roche Funeral Home, 120 Main Street in Lenox (413-637-0699). Her funeral will be held on September 18 at 11 a.m. at The Church on the Hill, UCC at 169 Main St. Lenox, followed by burial at Mountain View Cemetery in Lenox.
