Officially On the Ballot
To the Editor:
It is with overwhelming energy that I can officially say I am a candidate for the Ward Six City Council seat in the upcoming November 3, 2015 local election. I would like to thank the over 300 residents who took the time to sign my papers!
As a former City Councilor I have had the pleasure of working with almost every City department on issues that mattered to the residents of Ward Six. As I left office in January of 2014, I was more committed and energized to stay involved with my community. I kept to my belief that Wynn Resorts was right not only for Everett becoming one of the leading state-wide voices on the Protect Mass Jobs Campaign, but I am pleased beyond words to say that I had a direct role in bringing over 10,000 new jobs to the Commonwealth and millions of new tax dollars. I also stayed focused on local issues, many days still taking calls from residents and helping them with issues in each neighborhood. As some of you may know I underwent brain surgery this past week, a time where I could have easily given up. That my friends, is the Everett Edge as our Superintendent of School’s Mr. Foresteire would call it. Rather I am working harder than ever here at Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital in Charlestown to get stronger and back on my feet soon, so I can be the greatest voice Ward Six and the Community can imagine.
I look forward to seeing everyone very soon and personally asking for your Ward Six City Council vote!!!!
