Mayor Carlo DeMaria is pleased to announce the official launch of the newly designed and updated City of Everett website ( http://www.cityofeverett.com).
The new website was crafted with a focus of being easy to navigate and user friendly. It boasts a more comprehensive and user-friendly design, providing the easiest and most efficient web experience for residents and visitors of the City of Everett. The website can also be translated into approximately 90 languages making it more inclusive to Everett’s diverse population.
“The goal of the new website was to make public information easily accessible,” states Mayor DeMaria, “we are continuing to move the City of Everett forward in the 21st century and a large part of that is having the current technology to offer our residents a simpler and more convenient way to conduct city-related business, and to make essential municipal information easily available to the public.”
Features of the new site include a sleek and professional design, with an intelligent, interactive search bar, a comprehensive events calendar, a clear database of City ordinances, easy to find agendas and minutes from city meetings, expanded online services such as online bill pay and downloadable departmental forms and applications, detailed information on departments and services, current methods of contact, and the most up-to-date news and information regarding City business and happenings.
Through the website, residents will be able to connect quickly and easily to the City’s expanded applications, such as SeeClickFix and Blackboard Connect (phone call notification system), with the click of a button.
“I encourage all residents to utilize the new website and its features,” added Mayor DeMaria, “we will be continuing to add to it in the coming weeks and months and look forward to adding more and more online services for our residents and taxpayers.”
