To kick off its Pre-kindergarten curriculum theme, “All About Animals”, the Adams School held a fun and educational Penguin Day. Students celebrated by wearing black and white clothes and participating in a variety of themed activities.
As an added bonus, the day corresponded with the installation of Eno Boards throughout the school. An Eno board is an interactive whiteboard that seamlessly blends analog and digital, markers and multimedia with the simplicity of a traditional marker-board. It improves interaction between students, instructors and content for enhanced learning.
Using this technology, children took a virtual field trip to SeaWorld in Orlando, Florida to view the Penguin Cam and discover the penguins in their habitat. Both students and teachers were excited about all of the new ways one can learn.
