The Batch Yard is a Beautiful and Unique Apartment Development

That was certainly a wonderful party held to celebrate  the grand opening of the Batch Yard, the new 328-unit luxury apartment community located at 25 Charlton St.

Mayor Carlo DeMaria and his wife, Stacey DeMaria, led an impressive list of dignitaries and local residents who attended the gala event. The mayor was deservedly proud and honored to usher in a new era of development in the city with the arrival of this beautiful new lofts-and-flats building located on the former site of the Charleston Chew factory.

Guests were given a tour of the building – which includes an amazing roof deck with a sensational view. There is a swimming pool, a community lounge and library, a fitness and yoga studio. The loft-style studios, one, two, and three-bedroom apartment homes with designer floors, baths, and kitchen areas are in a word, beautiful.

Andy Montelli, developer and principal at Post Road Residential, and his team certainly did a superb job developing this project into one of the most outstanding spaces in the areas. The location – just minutes from downtown Boston – is perfect for those who work in the city or just want to be close to the Hub and all it has to offer.

The famous “Charleston Chew” sign that used to greet motorists on Route 16 has found a new home on top of the roof deck, artistically the past and present together.

The Batch Yard is a triumph for Post Road Residential and the City of Everett. We welcome the new residents who have chosen to live here and congratulate all those who made the Batch Yard such a positive and vibrant addition to the Everett community at-large.
