Rachel Musker

Hospital in Medford

Rachel (Parisi) Musker, a lifelong resident of Everett, entered into rest unexpectedly on August 27 in the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. She was 61 years old.

Rachel, who worked for the Lawrence Memorial Hospital in Medford as a patient transporter, was the wife of the late Alan Musker; beloved daughter of Alfred and Doris Parisi of Everett; dear and devoted mother of Melanie DeRosa and her husband, Gregory of Everett; dear sister of Frank Parisi of Medford, Lorraine Morando of Saugus and Donna Meuse of Cape Coral, Florida and the loving grandmother of Amanda, Erin, Robert and Lily De Rosa.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Rachel’s visiting hours in the Cafasso & Sons Funeral Home, 65 Clark St. (Corner of Main St.) Everett, Thursday, Sept. 4 from 5 to 6:30 p.m. with a service to follow at 6:30 p.m. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Rachel’s memory to autismawareness.com or any autism related charity would be sincerelyappreciated.

Carol Colarusso

Former Bank Teller

Carol A. (Thomas) Colarusso of Everett entered into rest unexpectedly on August 25 in the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. She was 82 years old.

Born in Boston, Carol resided in Everett for many years. She worked in various banking institutions as a bank teller for several years and enjoyed bowling with her ladies’ league. She was the beloved wife of Albert V. Colarusso for over 58 years; dear and devoted mother of Caroline Cashin and her late husband, Richard of Boxford, Albert Colarusso, Jr. and his wife, Cecilia of Naples, FL, Thomas Colarusso and his wife, Carolyn of Quincy, Robert Colarusso of Everett, and Francis Colarusso of Medford; sister of Anthony Thomas of California, Shirley Johnson of Colorado and the late Richard Thomas and Marion Giannino. Carol is also survived by 11 loving grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.

Funeral arrangements were by the Cafasso & Sons Funeral Home, Everett. Interment was in Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden. Contributions in Carol’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN, 38105 would be sincerely appreciated.
