Students and faculty members of the Everett Public Schools Art Department were valuable participants in the Mayor’s Spring Clean Up initiative. The students used their skills and creativity to beautify transformer boxes with colorful works of art. Ms. Amanda Gil and her students from the Parlin School designed the box on the corner of Waverly and Hancock streets, while Ms. Kimberly Nicotera’s eighth-grade art students from the Whittier School painted their box at the corner of Ferry and Chelsea streets.
