Mayor Carlo DeMaria was pleased to join Everett’s Little League baseball organization this past weekend at Sacramone Park to celebrate its Opening Day ceremonies with the youth of Everett and their families.
The Mayor kicked off the event by wishing all the teams the best of luck in the upcoming season and throwing out the first pitch.
“I would like to extend my sincere thanks to the Little League organization of Everett for allowing me to be part of such a special day,” states Mayor DeMaria, “Opening Day allows us to come together as a community, to celebrate and support the youth of our City, and to promote exercise, activity, and a healthy lifestyle. It is a fantastic event that I am proud to be a part of each year.”
