Mayor DeMaria Honors Superior Police and Fire Officers

This past Monday, April 7th, Mayor Carlo DeMaria held a luncheon at the EHS Cafe for the Superior Officers of the Everett Fire and Police Departments to show his appreciation for the sacrifice and dedication they display each and everyday.

The Mayor expressed how proud and grateful he is not only as Mayor, but also as a resident of Everett, for the men and women who protect our City.

“Our police and fire departments are committed to serving the citizens of Everett with the highest degree of care and professionalism,” states Mayor DeMaria,  “And that is why we should show them gratitude and respect everyday. Our neighbors, families, and friends can feel safer and sleep sounder, knowing that we have the kind of men and women who will sacrifice to protect our City. On behalf of the City of Everett, I once again thank them for their service, bravery, and commitment to our community.”

In addition, Mayor DeMaria acknowledged the Everett High School Culinary Art Program for once again providing and exemplary meal.  “The skill and talent of our culinary students is truly amazing.  I thank them for once again providing a healthy and delicious meal.”
