Antonio Bocchino

Coca Cola Retiree

Antonio Bocchino of Revere, formerly of Everett, died at the Lighthouse Nursing Home on September 14. He was 87 years old.

Born in Italy, the son of the late Guisseppe and Nicola (Dinisco), he moved to the United States in 1966, settling in Everett before moving to Revere. Antonio was employed by Coca Cola until retiring in 1991.

The beloved husband of Irene (Deasy), he was the beloved father of Joe Bocchino and his wife, Patricia of Peabody, Nick Bocchino and his wife, Patricia of Georgetown, Itilia Pepe of Revere, Jerry Bocchino of Saugus and the late Carla Bocchino; step father of Elaine D’Ortona and her husband, Nick of Boxford and Joanne Anastasiades and her husband, James of Wakefield. He is also survived by nine loving grandchildren and his former wife, Palmira Bocchino of Everett.

His Funeral will be held from the Paul Buonfiglio & Sons-Bruno Funeral Home, 128 Revere St., Revere on Thursday, September 19 at 10 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Anthony’s Church, Revere at 11 a.m. Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Lydia Walata

Of Chelsea

Lydia (Belofsky) Walata of Chelsea died on September 12.

The beloved wife of Walter S. Walata, Jr., she was the loving mother of Cathy Surette and her husband, Joseph of Saugus and Mark Walata and his wife, Michelle of Arlington. She is also survived by one loving grandson, Kristopher Surette of North Andover and two loving nephews, Paul Gisetto and his wife, Jean and Walter Begonis and his wife, Mary Ellen.

Jack Westbrooks

N.E.P.C. Delivery Clerk

Jack Westbrooks of Everett died on September 11.

A long time delivery clerk for N.E.P.C. in the Chelsea Produce Center, he was the father of Todd Westbrooks, Jennifer Westbrooks and Jack L. Westbrooks Jr.; son of the late Dorothy (Smith) Taylor-Westbrooks and Wayne R. Taylor Sr.; brother of Gene E. Westbrooks Jr., Steven E. Westbrooks, Deborah L. Westbrooks, Michael J. Westbrooks, Mary Lou Maldonado-Rios, Bradford M. Taylor, Bruce W. Taylor, Richard W. Taylor Jr., Cimar Arogote, Veronica Lynn Taylor and the late George Jay Westbrooks. He is also survived by one grandson, Isaiah Westbrooks.

Rita Reardon

Of Arizona, formerly of Everett

Rita V. (Bernard) Reardon of Scottsdale, AZ, formerly of Everett, died on August 30. She was 92 years old.

She was the loving wife of the late James F. Reardon, retired Everett Police Officer; loving mother of the late James T., husband of Barbara of Everett; loving mother of Dennis of Phoenix, AZ, Stephen and his wife, Caryn of Dublin, OH and Geralyn of Scottsdale, AZ; beloved sister of Samuel of Florida and the late Anthony, James, Andrew and Albert; loving grandmother of Renee, James, Kevin, Kaitlyn and Ryan; loving great grandmother of Brianna, Jessica and Aiden, great great grandmother of Addison, Bailey and Alani and loving aunt of many nieces and nephews.

Memorial Service, internment and reception will be held at The Woodlawn Cemetery, 302 Elm St., Everett on Wednesday, September 25 at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to The Sherman Hospice House, Hospice of the Valley, 5801E. Mayo Blvd, Phoenix, AZ 85054.

Jeanne Sweinimer

Longtime Charlestown Patriot

Jeanne M. (Whitehouse) Sweinimer, an 18 year resident of Everett, formerly of Charlestown, entered into eternal life on September 1 at The Golden Living Center in Melrose after a long illness. She was 62 years old.

Jeanne was born in Stoneham on November 27, 1950, a daughter of the late Roger Whitehouse and Gloria (Morris) Whitehouse. She grew up in Charlestown and was educated in the Boston Public School system and graduated from Charlestown High School in 1968. Jeanne worked for many years as a receptionist/sales representative for the Charlestown Patriot Newspaper.

She was the beloved wife of 16 years to Allen H. Sweinimer; the loving mother to Brian Davis; devoted sister of Diana Melaugh, Kathy Whitehouse and the late William Whitehouse, Marilyn McMaster, Kevin Whitehouse and Patricia Burke. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Funeral arrangements were by The Carr Funeral Home, Charlestown. Burial was in the Veterans Administration National Cemetery in Bourne.
