Marie Stewart

We once again wish to note the tragic passing of Marie Stewart, an Everett Public schools crossing guard who was hit by an oncoming vehicle in a tragic accident near the Keverian School on May 23.

Her funeral last week brought out a wonderful tribute in her memory by the students of the Keverian School

Ms. Stewart, whom we knew as the friendly waitress at the former Mike’s Donuts, was not only a crossing guard but the faithful wife of Neil, the loving mother of five children, Michael, Allison, James and David. She also leaves a sister Marguerite Timledge and a brother, James Pesce. She also leaves nine grandchildren and one great grandchild.

The outpouring of sorrow over her untimely death shows the extent to which Marie Stewart left her imprint on this community.

We are all saddened by her passing.

Our condolences, again, to her grieving family.

She was a nice lady who cared about the kids.

She will be missed.
