Lorraine M. (Fallon) Bowman of Stoneham, formerly of Revere and Chelsea, died on May 23, following a long illness. She was 84 years old.
A longtime member and devotee of the Immaculate Conception Parish Community of Revere and a past president of the Immaculata Guild, she was the beloved wife of 61 years to Retired Revere Fire Captain Joseph J. Bowman Sr.; devoted mother of Joraine M. Spelman and her husband, Philip of Stoneham, Joseph J. Bowman Jr. and his wife, Karen of Brecksville, OH, Lisa M. Carlson and her husband, James of Saugus, Christine B. Emond and her husband, Douglas of Marblehead; dear sister of Patricia Colburne of Wakefield and the late Marcella Edgett, Ernestine Page and Chelsea Patrolman Joseph E. Fallon. She is also lovingly survived by nine grandchildren, two great grandchildren, two sisters in law, Dorothy Bowman of Melrose and Concetta “Connie” Fallon of Everett and by many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews.

Dorothy Cavignano
Co-Established Guard Alarm of Everett
Dorothy H. (Kelley) Cavignano, a lifelong resident of Everett, died on May 19.
A graduate of Everett High School, Class of 1949, while still in high school, ‘Dottie’ worked at the Whidden Memorial Hospital helping to serve patients their meals. Upon graduation, she worked in the office at Kyanize Paint Company and then went on to help establish Guard Alarm with her husband, a security fire alarm company in Everett
The beloved companion of the late Earl Fuller and the late Frank Cavignano, she was the loving mother of Frank Cavignano, Jr. of New Hampshhire, Susan Copson of Melrose, Michael Cavignano of Connecticut and Patricia Cavignano of Everett; loving sister of Catherine Meehan and the late Jack Kelley and is also survived by five loving grandchildren, Ashley, Samantha, Lauren, Matthew and Christopher.

Concettina J. (DeNisco) LaPaugh, a lifelong resident of Everett, died on May 26 at the Everett Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was 90 years old.
Born in Medford, she was the beloved wife of the late Jack F. LaPaugh; dear and devoted mother of Emmalea L. Herra and her husband, Harry F. of North Reading; loving sister of William DeNisco of Chelsea, Peter DeNisco of Lynnfield, Laura White of Everett and the late Mary D’Orlando, Josephine Palmieri, Dorothy D’Amico, Theresa Elios and Virginia Cataldo. She is also survived by several loving nieces and nephews.
Her Funeral will be held from the Cafasso & Sons Funeral Home, 65 Clark St. (Corner of Main St.) Everett Thursday morning at 9 followed by her Funeral Mass in the Immaculate Conception Church, 489 Broadway, Everett, at 10 a.m. Visiting hours are today, Wednesday, from 4 to 8 p.m. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett. Ida R. (Nardi) Rizzo of Everett, formerly of East Boston, died on May 24. She was in her 96th year.
She was the beloved wife of the late Charles Rizzo; devoted mother of Alfred Cataldo and his wife, Joann of Stoneham; dear sister of the late Virginia Romano and Victor Nardi; cherished grandmother of Joanna Cataldo-Walsh and Michelle Cataldo-Favaloro, both of Winthrop, Frederick Cataldo of West Roxbury, Joseph Fagone of Lowell, Kara Cataldo of Charlestown and Lesley McDermottroe and she is also survived by many adored great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Her Funeral will be held from the Ruggiero Family Memorial Home, 971 Saratoga St. (Orient Heights) East Boston today, Wednesday, May 30 at 9 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial in celebration of Mrs. Rizzo’s life at Our Lady of Perpetual Help (Mission Church) 1545 Tremont St., Boston at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
