Janet D. (Rosenberg) Fleming of Burlington, formerly of Canton and Everett, died on March 17.The beloved wife of the late Francis “Red,” she was the loving sister of the late Edward Rosenberg, June Mahoney and William Ross; devoted aunt of William and Robert Mahoney, Nancy Isbart, William, David and Michael Ross and the late Edward Mahoney and Lawrence Ross. Warren McKay

Retired Everett Firefighter

Warren J. McKay of Franklin, formerly of Everett, died on March 13. He was 88 years old.

A US Navy veteran of World War II and a retired Everett Firefighter, he was the husband of the late Elizabeth “Betty” (McCauley) McKay; brother of Beth Budrow of Florida and the late Al McKay and Dorothy McKay and is also survived by many nieces and nephews and his dear loving friends,

Elizabeth and Edward Clark of Medway. Calling hours will be Saturday, March 24 from 11 a.m. to noon followed by a funeral service at noon in the Ginley-Crowley Funeral Home, 3 Barber St., Medway.

Robert Small

Part of NORAD Development Team

Robert L. (Bob) Small died on March 12. He was 85 years old.

Mr. Small served in the U.S. Army during World War II as part of the Army Specialized Training Program learning Japanese. He received a B.S. degree in Business  Administration from B.U. in 1952. In 1957, he was hired by Rand Corp. and was part of the North American Air Defense Command (NORAD) development team and granted a Top Secret level clearance. “Bob” had a lifelong admiration of horse racing and enjoyed trips to Las Vegas with his son, Robert Jr. He was a sweet man and will be sorely missed.

He leaves his son Robert Small Jr., of Belmont. He was predeceased by his first wife Grace Small of Belmont,  his second wife, Bernadine Hopkins of Foxboro, his brother, Philip Small of Beverly, his sister Elizabeth Drymon of Eliot, ME; five nephews-Philip Small Jr. of Kenduskeag, ME, Richard Small of Topsfield, MA, Jeffrey Small of Ipswich, MA, David Drymon of Eliot, ME and Robert Drymon of Eliot, ME.

Eileen Palladino

Registered Nurse

Eileen M. (Kinch) Palladino of Peabody died on March 11 at the Massachusetts General Hospital with her family by her side. She was 68 years old.

Mrs. Palladino had a prestigious career at the Boston City and Beth Israel Hospitals and the VA’s in Massachusetts and Florida. A graduate Amesbury High School, she was a star of the Drama Club, Senior Class President and Valedictorian. She attended Merrimack College, graduated from Mary Fletcher School of Nursing at the University of Vermont and received her B.A. at New England College in Henniker, NH.

Born in Boston, she was the beloved daughter of the late William J. and Anna M. (Regan) Kinch; loving wife of Michael Palladino; devoted mother Brett Palladino of Peabody and Blake Palladino of Lynnfield; loving grandmother of Kayla Rose; dear sister of Maureen Kinch, Annamarie Kinch, Karen Griffin and her husband, Lee, William, Charles and Peter. She is also survived by many loving extended family members.

Funeral arrangements were by the Paul Buonfiglio & Sons-Bruno Funeral Home, Revere. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to The Juvenile Diabetes Foundation, 60 Walnut St., Wellesley Hills, MA 02481. Burial was in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park.

Scott Ferullo

Scott N. Ferullo of Everett died on March 18.

The beloved husband of Cheryl Ann (Sergio) Ferullo, he was the loving father of Scotty, Jr., Brian, Matthew, Samantha, Krystal and Nicolas; beloved son of George and Rosalie (DePrizio) Ferullo; loving brother of George Ferullo and his wife, Kim, Mark and his wife, Lori and Dennis Ferullo. He is also survived by his one loving granddaughter, Leah and many loving nieces and nephews.

Olga C. (Dandaneau) Johnson of Medford, formerly of Everett, died on March 18.

She was the cherished wife of the late Frank E. Johnson; devoted mother of Frank E. Johnson, Jr. and his wife, Sheri Dening of Pasadina, CA, Michael Johnson and his wife, Tracy, Lisa Hinton, Olga and her husband, Michael Corriea and Kathleen Johnson, all of Medford; proud grandmother of Scott, Nicole, Tori, Jade, Kira and Max; sister of Fabian Dandaneau and his wife, Shannon; sister-in-law of Patricia and Joseph Fialli.

Catherine (Napoli) Mellace, a longtime resident of Everett, died at the Chelsea Jewish Nursing Home on  March 13.  She was 90 years old.

Born in Boston, she was the beloved wife of the late John J. Mellace; dear and devoted mother of John and his wife, Lucille of Melrose, Kenneth and his wife, Deborah of Abington and Kathleen Santosuosso and her husband, John of Everett.  She is also survived by six loving grandchildren and four great-grandchildren and was the sister of eight late siblings.

Michael W. Sensale, Jr. of Everett, formerly of Somerville, died suddenly on March 10. He was 63 years old.

He was the son of the late Michael and Cecelia (DiLuca) Sensale; beloved brother of Ron Sensale and his wife, Joanne of Newton, Paul Sensale and his wife, Donna of Chelsea, David Sensale and his wife, Lisa of Arlington, Lenora Clooney and her husband, Jim of Medford and Roberta Parrinello and her husband, Greg of Reading. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

She was the beloved wife of the late State Representative John P. Kennedy and loving mother of Maureen and her husband, Edwin Milan, Thomas and his wife, Linda, Jon, Pamela, Terrence and his wife, Cheryl, William and the late Mark and Robert; sister of the late Reverend William Higgins, Lawrence, John, Sabina, James, Rita Jodrie, Mary Spicer, and Frank and grandmother of Christopher, Mark, Ryan, Alycia, Julie, Peter, Sabrina, and Kaitlyn.

Amoroso C. “Amo” DiPierro of Everett died on March 17.

He was the beloved husband of Lucieni (Burgarelli); son of Ciriaco and his wife, Hilda of Everett and the late Deborah (Fronduto); brother of Ramona of Brighton, Stephanie of Medford and John of Woburn. He is also survived by one niece, his god daughter, Shirley, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Thomas ‘The King’ MacArthur

Retired Everett Police Sergeant

Thomas A. “The King” MacArthur of Everett died on March 17. He was 88 years old.

A Sergeant in the Everett Police Department, he retired after 38 years of service and served as a tank driver for General Patton in World War II.

He was the beloved husband of 64 years of Yolanda “Lana” (Spacer); loving father of Thomas MacArthur and his wife, Robyn and Jackie MacArthur, all of Everett and the late Michael and Timothy. He is also survived by his two loving grandchildren, Duran and Megan as well as his loving great grandson, Nico.

Francis J. Parisi of of Melrose Park, IL, formerly of Everett, died recently. He was 83 years old.

The former principal of Lincoln School District 89, Maywood, IL for 14 years, he was the loving husband of Stella (Zukowski); beloved father of Joanne and her husband, Mark Mascari and the late Leonard (Caroline); dear grandfather of Lauren, Jessica, and Michael; brother of Alfred and his wife, Doris, the late Josephine and her husband, Charlie Cole, late Nicholas and his wife, Barbara and the late Michael and his wife, Connie, all of Everett. He was the uncle of many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be today, Wednesday, March 21 from 3 to 9 p.m. at Cuneo-Columbian Funeral Home, 10300 W.
