George A. Hindy of Everett died at the Massachusetts General Hospital on January 21. He was 82 years old. He went out fighting, but the powers that be won out.
A US Army veteran, he was a member of the American Legion, and an avid boxer during his service years. He retired after many years as a property manager for Prudential Center and later RM Bradley & Company and Boston Properties.
He was the beloved husband of the late Anna C. (Cataldo) Hindy; loving father of Jeffrey J. Hindy of Everett and Carl G. A US Army veteran of World War II, he served in the 69th Armored Infantry Battalion under General Patton. He was also the retired City of Everett Building Inspector.
