Eleanor ‘Ellie’ Haggerty

Eleanor R. “Ellie” (Alfieri) Haggerty of Everett, formerly of Somerville, died on January 23. She was 87 years old.

She was the wife of the late Roger Haggerty; loving mother of Kenneth Haggerty and his wife, Julie of Ossipee, NH, Desiree A. Hayes, Elaine Rettman and her husband, Mike, all of Methuen, Craig, John, James and Paul Haggerty, all of Everett; sister of Jean DiPerna of Woburn, Doris Domings of Somerville and the late Claire Abbott, James, Louis and Gerald Alfieri; dear grandmother of Rita, David, Jennifer, Vikki, Mike, Erik, Danny, Katie, and Elizabeth and great grandmother of Carolanne, Patricia, Sabrina, Steven, Shaun and LCPL. George Hindy

Retired Property Manager

George A. Hindy of Everett died at the Massachusetts  General Hospital on January 21. He was 82 years old. He went out fighting, but the powers that be won out.

A US Army veteran, he was a member of the American Legion, and an avid boxer during his service years. He retired after many years as a property manager for Prudential Center and later RM Bradley & Company and Boston Properties.

He was the beloved husband of the late Anna C. (Cataldo) Hindy; loving father of Jeffrey J. Hindy of Everett and Carl G. Hindy and his wife, Donna Roe of Merrimack, NH; loving companion of Sally Clarke of Everett; cherished grandfather of Nicholas, Jaqueline, Gregory, and George; dear brother of Barbara Ciarlone and Amelia Chiotasso, both of Weymouth.

Mary G. (LaSpina) Bertolami of Everett and Seabrook Beach, NH died on January 22.

She was the wife of the late Salvatore Bertolami; mother of Louis J. Bertolami and his wife, Camille of No. Reading, Maryann F. Boyd and her husband, Robert of No. Andover; sister of Rose DiPaolo of North Andover, Eleanor Ippolito of Norwell and the late Lena Calderone. She is also survived by three grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Lola S. (Trull) Kurley of East Boston died peacefully on January 22. She was 98 years old.

She was born in Buncombe County, NC, the beloved wife of the late Stanley; mother of the late Charles and his surviving wife, Elsie of North Reading, the late Finley, the late John and his surviving wife, Joanne and their son John of Alabama and the late William; daughter of the late John and Julia Trull; sister of the late Rachel Shipman and is also survived by many other grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Graceann R. Belloise, a longtime resident of Everett, died unexpectedly at home on January 23.

A homemaker, she was born in Everett and was the beloved mother of Lisa E. Morris of Everett, Richard Morris and his wife, Melissa of Whitman and Joshua Belloise of Everett; sister of Victor Belloise and the late Joseph M. Teresa R. (Masella) White, a lifelong resident of Revere, died on January 21.

The daughter of the late John and Maria (D’Amore) Masella, she was a former book keeper for American Nut and Bolt, a longtime parishioner of St Anthony’s Church and an avid fan of horse racing.

She was the beloved wife of the late David J.; devoted mother of David and his wife, Shirley of Andover, Catherine Dolliver and her husband, Stephen of Everett and Debora White of Revere; dear sister of the late Nellie Masella, Eleanor Tenerini, John Masella, Edward Masella, Margherita DeLucia, Daniel Masella, Michael Masella, Peter Masella and Ralph Masella and loving grandmother of Lee Durocher, Keith Durocher, Jennifer White and Christopher White. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Margaret T. (McDermott) Fitzpatrick, a longtime Everett resident, died on January 19 at the Golden Living Center-Dexter House , Malden. She was 80 years old.

A homemaker born in County Sliego, Ireland, she was the beloved wife of the late John C. Fitzpatrick; dear and devoted mother of Deborah A. O’Neill and her husband, Kevin of Everett, Kevin M. of Everett, Paul of Florida, John E. of Peabody and Michael J. of Everett; sister of Winifred Coppola of Peabody, Delia Penzo of Quincy and Joseph McDermott of Dorchester.  She is also survived by 11 loving grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Marie L. (Gleason) Crockett of Florida, formerly of Everett, died at her home on January 19. She was 83 years old.

A former longtime Nurse’s Aide for Annemark Nursing Home in Revere, she was the beloved companion of the late Lawrence R. Goss; loving mother of Katherine Crane of Florida, Carol Mooney and her husband, David of Malden, Therese Fantasia and her husband, Tom of Franklin and the late Timothy Crockett and his surviving wife, Marie. She is also survived by four cherished grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She was predeceased by one grandchild.

Retired Everett Building Inspector

Salvatore S. “Sal” Mandracchia of Everett died on January 19.

A US Army veteran of World War II, he served in the 69th Armored Infantry Battalion under General Patton. He was also the retired City of Everett Building Inspector.

He was the beloved husband of C. Mildred (Luciano); father of Cheryl DiGeorge and her husband, Joseph of North Attleborough, Stephan of Everett, and Daniel of Topsfield; brother of Mary Gallo of Chelsea, the late Josephine Montalbano, Fred, Polly Battaglia, and John and is also survived by six grandchildren, Joseph, Amanda, Steffan, Samantha, Daniel, Nicholas, two great grandchildren, Joseph Jr., Savanah Rose, and many nieces and nephews.

The wife of 62 years of Robert, she was the mother of Joyce A. Bartlett of Marblehead, Dawna Lanney of Ipswich, Robin Rumbolt of Wareham, and Debbie Mestieri of East Wareham; grandmother of Kristen Vicino, Justin Flateau, Tim Kresl, and Steven Rumbolt; great grandmother of Aiden Flateau; sister of James Malcolm of Tewksbury and was pre-deceased by Alexander Malcolm, John Malcolm, and Joan Kodzis. Retired Boston School Bus Fleet Mechanic

Bernard Lloyd, Sr., a lifelong Everett resident, died on January 8. He was 69 years old.

Mr. Lloyd worked as a Mass Dispatch Truck Driver but retired as a fleet mechanic for the Boston School Bus System.

He was the beloved husband of the late Thelma I.
(Mercer); father of Suzanne Lloyd and her long time companion, Donald Vacheresse, Deborah Paschal and her husband, Justin, Florence Lloyd and her
fiancé, Ernest, Bernard Lloyd, Jr. and Richard Joseph Lloyd. He was the son of the late Rita (Wentworth) Farnkoff and Charles Lloyd; brother of Patricia, James,
Daniel, Richard, Joseph, Michelle, Rita, Michael, Diane and the late Charlene Perrault and Eileen Mercer. He is also survived by two grandchildren: James J. Oakman Jr. and Ashley L. Vacheresse.
