Raymond Dunbrack

Long time Everett school lunch program employee

Raymond W. Dunbrack, a lifelong resident of Everett, died at home on July 18.  He was 71 years old.

He was a retired mechanical technician for a machine shop and worked for many years for the school lunch program in the city of Everett.

The beloved husband of Judith R. (Carroll) for more than 49 years, he was the dear and devoted father of Christine Dunbrack and George W. Dunbrack  all of Everett and the late David, Joseph and Raymond W. Dunbrack, Jr.; brother of Marilyn Faia, Charlotte Grande, Dorothy Foresteire and Deborah Dunbrack, all of Everett and the late Valerie Foti; loving grandfather of Eric D. Dunbrack, Lauren R. Boudreau, Joseph M. Dunbrack, Joseph M. Dunbrack, Andrea Dunbrack, Megan Smokler, Jessica R., Sydney R., and Ciara R. Dunbrack  and great-grandfather of Jaelyn Dunbrack.

His Funeral will be from the Cafasso & Sons Funeral Home,  65 Clark St. (Corner of Main St.) Everett, Thursday morning at 9 a.m. followed by a  Funeral Mass in the Immaculate Conception Church, Broadway, Everett, at 10 a.m.  Relatives and friends are respectfully invited.  Visiting hours are today, Wednesday, from 4 to 8 p.m.  Services will conclude with committal services in the Woodlawn Cemetery Chapel, Everett. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory to All Care Hospice, 16 City Hall Square, Lynn, MA 01901, would be sincerely appreciated.

Ernest Cordwell, Sr.

Everett resident

Ernest H. Cordwell, Sr. of Everett died on July 17. He was 83 years old.

A US Navy veteran, he was the beloved husband of Mary “Peggy” (Gear) Cordwell; loving father of Kathleen D’Alleva and her husband, Domenic of Wilmington, Barbara Boudreau and her husband, James of Chelsea, and the late Ernest H. Jr. and Edward Cordwell. He is also survived by eight cherished grandchildren and two cherished great grandchildren.

Iolanda Guglielmi

Malden resident

Iolanda (DeAcetis) Guglielmi of Malden died on July 16.

Born in Italy, she was the beloved wife of the late Arturo, mother of Dante of Saugus, Ivo of Malden, Lidia Marcella and her husband, Antonio of Malden and the late Pierino; sister of Remo DeAcetis of Lynnfield and the late Gino and Pasquale DeAcetis. She is also survived by six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Her Funeral will be held from the Salvatore, Rocco & Sons Funeral Home, 331 Main St., Everett today, Wednesday, July 20 at 9 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at Sacred Heart Church, Malden at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited. Ralph Martell

Everett resident

Ralph Martell of Everett died on July 15.

A US Navy veteran of World War II, he was the beloved husband of Jennie (Catino), the father of Donna Brooks of Malden and the late Ralph Martell, Jr. and his surviving wife, Maureen. He was the brother of five late siblings. He is also survived by five grandchildren, Richard Brooks and Laura Brooks, both of Malden, Kyle, Justin and Michael Martell, all of Chelmsford.

Eric M. Tempesta of North Reading died on July 12.

He was the cherished husband of Laura (Hartman) Tempesta and loving father of Peter, Juliana, and Ava; treasured son of Maureen Timmons and Don Tempesta; beloved brother of Shawn Tempesta of Nevada and Dan Holmes and his wife, Rebecca of Virginia; grandson of Pauline and Arthur Timmons.

Carmella ‘Ellie’ Gagliardi

Of Chelsea, formerly of Revere

Carmella E. “Ellie” (DeLuca) Gagliardi of Chelsea, formerly of Revere, died on July 11. She was 84 years old.

She was the beloved wife of 35 years to Frank Gagliardi and the late Restituto “Rusty” Nigro; devoted mother of Stephen L. Nigro and his wife, Linda of Capistrano Beach, CA, John A. Nigro of Wellesley and Nancy I. Nigro and her companion, Maryanne Carroccino of Peabody; cherished grandmother of John A. Nigro Jr. and his wife, Sarah of Saugus and Dani Nigro of Capistrano Beach, CA. She is also lovingly survived by Jack Gagliardi and his wife, Carol and Frank Gagliardi, all of Everett and many nieces and nephews. She was the dear sister of the late Vincent and Dorothy DeLuca.

Lorraine Walsh

Of Florida, formerly of Everett

Lorraine F. (Falvey) Walsh of Florida, formerly of Everett and Ipswich, died on June 17. She was 86 years old.

She was the beloved wife of Thomas J. Walsh; loving mother of Maureen and John Parent, Thomas J. and Melissa Walsh, Donna and Brian Turbity, Timothy and Karen Walsh, Mary Mazzeo, Lorraine and Jon Hanson, Kathleen and Gary Wood, Joanne and Mark Carley; loving sister of Barbara Csicsek, the late Helen Landry and Shirley Falvey; loving sister in law of Sister Mary J. Walsh and the late Sister Helen Mary Walsh. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, five great grandchildren and several dear nieces and nephews.

Caroline Tarasewicz

Caroline R. (Wozniak) Tarasewicz of Everett died on July 12. She was 84 years old.

The beloved wife of the late Adam, she was the loving mother of Charles and Carol Tarasewicz of Everett and Paul Tarasewicz of Maine. She is survived by three loving grandchildren, Nicole, Paul Jr., and Allison Tarasewicz.

Lisa Beauvais

Florida resident

Lisa A. Beauvais of Fort Lauderdale, FL, died on July 2. She was 46 years old.

Born in Everett to the late Henry & Marilyn (Bailey) Beauvais on July 18, 1964, she was the widow of the late Robert Ward of Chelsea and is survived by her brother Philip Beauvais and his wife, Stephanie of Davie, FL. She is also survived by her sister Yvette (Beauvais) Saunders, her husband Michael and their three children of Clinton, MA.

A private family service will be held at a later date. Donations may be made in her name to VITAS Hospice Care, Fort Lauderdale FL, a wonderful facility that kept her comfortable in her final days.

Gina Soldano

Everett resident

Gina D. (Rauseo) Soldano of Everett died on July 12.

She was the beloved wife of the late Frank B. Soldano, Sr., and daughter of the late Salvatore and Theresa (Mazzarella) Rauseo; devoted mother of Anthony F. and his wife, Cathy of New Hampshire, Frank B. Jr. and his wife, Diana of Everett, Stephen J. of Everett, Salvatore R. of Ipswich, Gina S. Soldano and her spouse, Millie Tortorella of Everett and Joseph M. and his wife, Nancy of New Hampshire; loving sister of Mary Odian, Rita Tecce, Salvatore Rauseo, Jr., and Angela Conrad, and the late Anthony and Michael Rauseo. She is survived by nine loving grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Alan Synnott

Band Leader

Alan G. Synnott, band leader and owner of the local band Rocky Road, died of Prostate Cancer on July 9 at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston. He was 64 years old.

He attended the Berkley School of Music and was an accomplished saxophone player.  He married Sandra Pignato and they lived in Chelsea before settling in Revere 40 years ago.  A well known entertainer for more than 25 years, he owned and led “Rocky Road” and also entertained as DJ Alan Synnott.  He retired several years ago from the City of Chelsea DPW Dept, enjoyed Classic Cars, was a member of the NRA  and enjoyed vacationing on the beaches of Puerto Rico.

Born and raised in Fall River, he was the loving son of the late James and Hilda (Ponte) Synnott; beloved husband of 43 years to Sandy (Pignato) Synnott of Revere; devoted father of Alan Synnott of Everett and Renee Synnott of Texas; cherished grandfather of Nicholas Mastromarino and Roman Synnott and dear brother of James Synnnott.
