New Chairman Robert Carreiro and Vice Chairman Allen Panarese
School Committeeman Robert Carreiro was elected Chairman of the Everett School Committee Monday evening.
He won by a unanimous vote and was immediately sworn in.
In addition, School Committeeman Allen Panarese was elected and sworn as the Evrett School Committee’s Vice-Chairman.
That vote was also unanimous.
Carreiro replaces Richard Baniewicz, who remains on the School Committee.
The first meeting of the New Year was largely organizational.
