Everett High Football Team Advances to Division 1 Super Bowl – Dibiaso Breaks State Record As Tide Beat Andover, 21-0

Quarterback Jonathan DiBiaso threw two touchdown passes as the Everett High football team defeated Andover, 21-0, Tuesday night to advance to the Division 1 Super Bowl. DiBiaso’s second TD pass was his 40th of  the season, breaking the previous state record that was set by Swampscott’s Kyle Beatrice in the 2003 season.
Everett  (11-0) will play St. John’s Prep (8-4), a 35-7 winner over New Bedford, for the Division 1 title Saturday at Gillette Stadium.

  • Everett played a good game - but some of your fans should be ashamed of yourselves. As we were leaving the stadium - some Everett adults (NOT kids) were yelling up to the Andover student section, "There goes your dream - 35 years - maybe next time..." etc etc. This is high school sports. I was there for the game and the Andover section did nothing to deserve this type of response.
