Eleanor Arinella

Eleanor (Burke) Arinella of Everett, formerly of East Boston and Chelsea, died January 24.

A graduate of East Boston High School, Class of 1946, she was the beloved wife of James J. “Junior” Arinella, with whom she shared 60 years of marriage; cherished daughter of the late John and Grace (Stacio) Burke; dear sister of Louis Burke of East Boston and the late John Burke.

Her Funeral will be held from Vazza’s “Beechwood” Funeral Home, 262 Beach St, Revere, today, Wednesday, at 8 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Joseph’s Church, 77 Salem St., Malden at 11 a.m. Family and friends may visit today from 8 to 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. Catherine Dasaro

Catherine (Guardino) Dasaro of Everett died on January 21.

She was the beloved wife of the late James Dasaro; loving mother of Florence Orso and her husband, John, of Malden, Bridget Iannuzzi and her husband, John, of New Hampshire, Joseph Dasaro and his wife, Elena, of Bellingham, Vincent Dasaro of Florida and Michael Dasaro of Everett; loving sister of Mary Blundo, Nancy D’Addario, Rose Gardino of Everett, as well as her brother-in-law Frank and his wife, Roseanne. She is survived by 16 loving grandchildren, six great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.

Lucy (Pesce) Alessio of Everett died on January 23.

She was the beloved wife of Robert Alessio and loving mother of Robert G. Alessio of Everett and Bruce Albert Alessio of Lexington; loving sister of Marie Buzzata of Everett and the late Albert Pesce. She is survived by her two loving granddaughters, Nicole and Jessica, as well as many loving nieces, nephews and cousins.

Phyllis Rocco

Of Rhode Island, formerly of Everett

Phyllis (Pescione) Rocco of Rhode Island, formerly of Lynnfield and Everett, died on January 21.

She was the beloved wife of the late Harry “Rip”; mother of Joseph and his wife, Diane, of Rehoboth, sister of Mary Minichiello of Lynnfield, the late Anne McClure and Josephine Pescione and is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Anthony D. Annetti of Stoneham died on January 20. He was 80 years old.

He was the beloved husband of the late Phyllis (Edeman) Annetti; devoted father of Irene Wilkinson and her husband Al and Karen Annetti all of Reading, Paul Annetti and his wife, Debra, of Wakefield and Janice Desroches and her husband, David, of New Hampshire; loving son of the late Mary and Tito Annetti and cherished grandfather of Ashley, Colin, Melissa, Christopher and David.

Eileen L. (Libman) Gray died January 21 at Hebrew Senior Life, Roslindale.

Born in Everett and raised in Chelsea, she was a daughter of the late Harry and Pauline Libman; the mother of Robin Paige-Polishook and her husband, Bruce, and Marc Paige and his partner, Rene Barrientos; the sister of Bernice Pearlson and her husband, Melvin; the grandmother of Stacey and Lindsey Polishook and the partner of Daniel Adler.

John ‘Al’ Feeney, 68

Retired Boston Firefighter

John “Al” Feeney of Everett, formerly of Charlestown, died on January 21. He was 68 years old.

A retired Boston Firefighter of Engine 22 and a member of Boston Firefighters Union Local 718, he was the husband of 39 years of Noreen (Butler) Feeney; devoted father of Kim Currie and her husband, Brian, of Everett, Jack Feeney and his wife, Jill, of Dracut and Patrick Feeney and his friend, Elizabeth, of Everett; loving grandfather of Brendan, Caitlin and Meghan Currie and Jack Feeney; beloved son of Mary (McCreavan) Feeney and the late John Feeney; beloved brother of Mary Miele, Patty Feeney, James Feeney, Danny Feeney, Kathleen Boutwell, Michael Feeney and the late William G. Feeney (B.F.D.)

A member of the Teamsters Union Local 25, he was the beloved husband of Barbara A. (Ferragamo); the devoted son of Sophie (DiNuccio) and the late Carmen Giordano of Everett; dear and devoted father of Thomas C. Giordano of Everett, Lauren M. Giordano of Arlington, VA and Lisa M. Giordano of N. Reading; loving grandfather of Brooke McAuliffe.

Sadie (Butt) Peterson of Milford, NH, formerly of Chelsea, died on January 18. She was 85 years old.

A member of the Salvation Army, Chelsea Corps, she was a retired employee of Forbes Lithograph of Chelsea

She was the daughter of the late Robert and Sadie (Clarke) Butt; sister of the late Edgar Butt, Alfred Butt, Irene Martin, Blanche Ankiewicz-Maleri and Doris Bursey.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the William R. Carafa & Son Home for Funerals, Chelsea. Burial was at the family lot at Puritan Lawn Cemetery in Peabody

Tina (Petera) Travis of Everett died on January 19.

A member of Agathos Class of First Baptist Church, Everett, she was the beloved wife of the late John; mother of John F. and his wife, Ann, of Nashua, NH and Bill and his wife, Betsy, of Tewksbury; sister of the late Beatrice and Mildred and is also survived by four grandchildren, Selena, John, Melissa, Robert and eight great grandchildren.
