For the past three years, Cambridge Health Alliance has given local teens and young adults the opportunity to gain valuable healthcare experience through its Career Pathways Program (CPP). This past year, 25 Everett youth were employed by CHA, attending weekly professional development sessions and receiving mentorship and support in both clinical and non-clinical settings. CPP Fellows earned their BLS/CPR and Mental Health First Aid certifications in addition to site-specific trainings in CHA operating rooms and beyond. This program was supported by an American Rescue Plans Act (ARPA) grant from the City of Everett. It provides workforce development skills and education to increase future career access and attainment.
