Of Everett

Doreen M. Mirabello, 74, of Everett, Massachusetts, passed away on October 3, 2026. She will be remembered for her big heart, vivacious personality and caring spirit.

Throughout her life, Doreen held various positions as a caregiver, most recently working as a nurse’s aide prior to her retirement. Her compassionate nature and dedication to caring for others were an important part of who she was.

Doreen had a love for life and many interests that brought her joy. An avid Boston Red Sox fan, she enjoyed attending games with her brother-in-law Don Loignon, sharing in the excitement and cheering on her favorite team. She also loved attending concerts and enjoyed all genres of music. One of her greatest comforts and joys was her beloved cat, Tiger, who was her baby and constant source of companionship.

Doreen was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Nicolina Mirabello; her brother, Charles Mirabello, and her brother-in-law, Don Loignon.

She leaves behind her loving family, including her brother Domenic, and his wife Debby; her brother Ralph, and his wife Lee; and her sister Janet Mirabello. She also leaves behind several cousins, nieces, and nephews who will cherish her memory.

The family extends heartfelt thanks to Marianne Salerno and Pam DiCicco for their kindness, unwavering support, and devoted help in caring for Doreen. Their compassion and generosity over the years meant so much to Doreen and her family, and their support will always be deeply appreciated.

In accordance with the family’s wishes, a private burial will be held in Doreen’s honor.

Doreen will be lovingly remembered for her generous heart, vivacious personality, love of music and the Red Sox and the special bonds she shared with her family, friends, and her beloved Tiger. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
