The Everett Cultural Council Seeks Members
From public art and performances to cultural festivals and educational programs, the goal of The Everett Cultural Council is to bring meaningful, enriching experiences to the people of Everett. Serving on the council is an opportunity to support local artists and organizations, help determine funding for community projects, and be a part of making Everett a more vibrant, inclusive place to live. New Hours and Fall Events at Everett Public Libraries
The Everett Public Libraries are excited to announce the expansion of hours at the Parlin Memorial Library. The main branch will be open 9am – 5pm on Saturdays starting Saturday, September 12th. “We are excited to be able to offer more programs and services over the weekend,” said Aubri, the Information Services Librarian. “Patrons have been asking for this for a long time, and we’re glad it’s finally happening.”
In addition to the expanded hours, the Everett Public Libraries are looking forward to an autumn full of fun events for all ages! Be on the lookout for these upcoming events:
• Library Card Sign Up Month – All September
• Author Event: Jenn Bouchard – September 16th
• Everett: East to West Book Club – September 19th & November 14th
• Author Event: Robert Fiztgibbon – October 14th
• Library Masquerade – October 24th
