Louise Jean Cafasso

Worked beside her husband in funeral businesses

Louise Jean Cafasso of Everett, entered into eternal rest at home, surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, July 25, 2026.  She was 75 years old. 

Born in Everett, Louise remained a lifelong resident.  She graduated from Everett High School, Class of 1968 and furthered her education at Northeastern University School of Dental Hygiene and became a Certified Dental Assistant specializing in orthodontics.  Louise was also a Licensed Real Estate Broker. But for most of life, she worked side-by-side beside her husband, Fred with the funeral businesses. Frederick Cafasso & Sons, Inc., Everett and Short, Williamson & Diamond Funeral Home, Belmont.

Louise was the devoted daughter of the late Peter A. and Anna M. (DiGiacomo) Annese; beloved and devoted wife of Frederick E. Cafasso for over 53 loving years; dear and devoted mother of Frederick E. Cafasso, Jr.; Joseph W. Cafasso and his wife, Lucy, and Kerry Ann Cafasso and her husband,  Joseph P. Szulewski, III;  sister of the late Peter A. Annese and his surviving wife, Claudia; and loving Nunnie of Joseph, Anna, Amelia, Emma Szulewski, Lucca and Daniella Cafasso, and Vanessa and Gabriella Marques. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Louise’s Funeral Mass in St. Anthony’s Church, 38 Oakes St., Everett at 10 a.m.  Monday, August 3. Burial will follow in the family lot at Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.  Contributions in Louise’s memory to Children’s Hospital Boston Trust, 401 Park Dr., Ste. 602.   Boston, MA  02215 would be sincerely appreciated.  Arrangements by the Cafasso & Sons Funeral Home, Everett.
