Michael ‘Spanky’ Mattuchio

Former owner of Fishing Fanatics, Main Street in Everett

Michael “Spanky” Mattuchio of Everett entered into eternal rest on Monday, June 17 in the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers after a brief illness.  He was 68 years old.

Born in Everett, Michael was the former owner of Fishing Fanatics, Main Street, Everett for many years.

He was the beloved son of the late Pasquale C. and Marion (Witten) Mattuchio; the dear and devoted brother of Henry Mattuchio and his wife, Margaret of Everett and the late Jacqueline Ferraro and her surviving husband, Robert of Stoneham; the loving uncle of Mark Ferraro and his wife, Julie, Robert Ferraro and his wife, Bridget, Renee’ Heffron and her husband, Brian and Michael Mattuchio and his wife, Jessica.  Spanky is also survived by 13 loving great nieces and great nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral arrangements were by the Cafasso & Sons Funeral Home, 65 Clark St. (Corner of Main St.) Everett.  Burial was in the family lot in the Glenwood Cemetery, Everett.

Francis M Connolly

Of Everett

Frances M. “Fran” Connolly, of Everett, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, June 30, 2024 in the Melrose-Wakefield Hospital after being in failing health.  She was 73 years old.  Born in Everett, Fran was a lifelong resident. She was a teacher in the Everett Public Schools system for many years and retired as their Director of Title One.  She worked in the school system for nearly forty years.  Fran was the daughter of the late Irving and Mary (Dolan) McPhee; the beloved wife of Paul F. Connolly for over 49 years; the dear and devoted mother of Shawn P. Connolly and his wife, Anna of Chicago and Lauren Santos and her husband, Luis of Everett; the dear sister of Robert McPhee of Everett; and the loving grandmother of Finn Connolly and Viviana Connolly.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Fran’s visiting hours in the Cafasso & Sons Funeral Home,  65 Clark St.  (Corner of Main St.) Everett, Monday, July 8, 2024 from 4 p.m.-7 p.m.   Her funeral will be from the funeral home on Tuesday, July 9, 2024 at 9 a.m.  with a funeral Mass to follow in the Immaculate Conception Church, 487 Broadway, Everett at 10 a.m.  Burial will be at the Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.  Parking with attendants on duty.
