The City of Everett and Everett Fire Department would like to recognize Mike Burzyk for his heroic act on Friday, March 25, 2022!
There was a fire on the back porch of a home on Bradford Street. Mike, a neighbor, extinguished the fire with a garden hose before our firefighters could arrive!
Due to this selfless act of heroism, he prevented what could have been a much larger fire and possible loss of life.
