Marie G. (Malta) Abbatinozzi of Everett entered into eternal rest on Friday, October 22 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was 93 years old.
Born in Everett and a lifelong resident, she worked as a secretary at the Federal Reserve Bank prior to her retirement.
The beloved daughter of the late Charles and Grace (Cibelli) Malta, she was the wife of the late Carl M. Abbatinozzi; dear and devoted mother of Marie Abbatinozzi of Everett, Michael P. Abbatinozzi and his wife, Teresa of Atlanta, GA and Joanne M. McCabe and her husband, Joseph of Saugus; dear sister of the late A. William Malta, Charles Malta, Jr. and his surviving wife, Rose, George Malta and his surviving wife, Josephine and Constance Brown and loving grandmother of Joseph, Jeffrey and Jonathan McCabe.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Marie’s visitation in the Cafasso & Sons Funeral Home, 65 Clark St. (Corner of Main St.) Everett today, Wednesday, Oct. 27 from 9 to 11 a.m. followed by a funeral home service at 11 a.m. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Marie’s memory to the American Heart Association, 300 5th Avenue, Waltham, MA 02451 would be sincerely appreciated. Parking with attendants on duty.
