Mayor DeMaria Kicks off Series of Community Meetings

Mayor Carlo DeMaria is kicking off the first of several community meetings in the neighborhoods of Everett this Thursday, Feb. 20.

The meeting will discuss numerous topics on the minds of residents, to include housing, development, parking, transportation, municipal infrastructure and the mayor’s vision for the future.

“I’m looking forward to meeting with residents to discuss their needs, concerns, and what they would like to see in their community,” he said. “There are many exciting things happening in Everett and I believe by working together we can achieve all of our mutual goals. That is why I want to hear from the members of our community and I encourage all residents to attend.”

The meeting will be livestreamed on Mayor DeMaria’s Facebook page, and there will be an opportunity to ask questions both in person and via Facebook.

The meeting will take place at 6:30 p.m. on Feb. 20 in the lower level of the Parlin Library, 410 Broadway.

Refreshments will be available.

Stay tuned for announcements on future meetings as well.
