Local Students Earn Academic Honors

Local Residents Graduate From Curry College

Curry College graduated a total of 754 undergraduate and graduate students at the 2019 Commencment on May 19 at the Xfinity Center in Mansfiled, Massachusetts. The following local students received their degrees:

Business, civic, and philanthropic leader John Fish, Hon. ‘19 served as Commencement speaker. Fish, the chairman and CEO of Suffolk, one of the nation’s leading construction management companies, received an honorary Doctor of Business Administration degree.

Endicott College Announces 2019 Local Graduates

Endicott College, the first college in the U.S. to require internships of its students, held its 79th annual commencement exercises this past week. At a May 23 ceremony for Endicott’s Van Loan School of Graduate and Professional Studies at Hempstead Stadium on the Endicott campus in Beverly, Mass., the commencement speaker was Latoyia Edwards, news anchor at NBC-10 Boston, who received an honorary Doctor of Humane Letters at the ceremony.

Mystic Valley Regional Announces Fourth Quarter Honor Roll

Mystic Valley Regional Charter School recently released its 4th quarter Honor Roll.  All in all 311 MVRCS students in Grades 7-12 achieved either High Honor Roll or Honor Roll Recognition.  Twenty nine young men and women hailing from Everett were part of the list.  To be on the Honor Roll a student needs to finish the quarter with no grade lower than a B- , to be on the High Honor Roll a student needs to finish the quarter with no grade lower than an A-.
