The Everett City Council has proudly announced that it is bring back a long-standing tradition for Everett’s youths at the Independence Day Celebration at Glendale Park. The Children’s races and decorating contest will resume this July 7th on the day of the City Independence Day Celebration. The boys & girls races will start at 10:00am and will be in the following ages groups, 3-4, 5-6, 7-8, 9-10 and 11-12. The races will be followed by a watermelon eating contest. A Decorating contest will also be conducted for the most festively decorated bike, doll carriage or wagon. Judging will be done & concluded by noon. Kick off the days celebration with the City Council.
