Joseph Dotoli

Retired Lynn School Teacher

Joseph R. Dotoli of Everett entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, March 13 in the Massachusetts General Hospital. He was 84 years old.

Born in Everett, Joe lived in Everett for many years. A U.S. Army veteran who served during the Korean Confllict, he graduated from Fitchburg State Teachers College in 1958 and was a retired teacher with the Lynn School Department.

He was the beloved son of the late Arthur and Grace (Orlandella) Dotoli, dear and devoted brother of Rose Marie Bruzzese and Patricia Stevenson of Everett and the late Arthur Dotoli, Jr. Joseph is also survived by several loving nieces and nephews.

Funeral arrangements were by the Cafasso & Sons Funeral Home, Everett.

Henry ‘Hank’ Rocco

President of the Salvatore Rocco & Sons Funeral Home and U.S. Navy World War II Intelligence Officer

Henry J. “Hank” Rocco of Everett died on March 16 at the age of 94.

Henry was the president of what is now the Rocco-Carr-Henderson Funeral Home founded by his father, Salvatore, in 1927. He attended Boston College High School and the University of Wisconsin. He was a member of an elite intelligence team during World War II which intercepted the Japanese code. Entitled FRUPAC, his intelligence team could not reveal their whereabouts even to Henry’s family during the war. He was a late member of the Everett – Saugus Elks, the Italian American Association of Everett & Malden and the “E” Club of Everett.

The beloved husband of the late Mary O. (Catino), he was the loving brother of Virginia Fiske and her late husband, Lew, Richard S. Rocco, Sr. and his wife, Barbara, Grace Pedneault and her late husband, Gerry, and the late Horace Rocco and his late wife, Helen. He is survived by his beloved nephews and godson, Richard S. Rocco, Jr. and his wife, Daniela, Stephen Rocco and his wife, Lidia, Lew Fiske, Gary Pedneault and Glen Pedneault and his wife, Karen and the late Salvatore “Sonny” Rocco and Richard Fiske.
