Richard Baniewicz

Richard C. Baniewicz of Everett entered into eternal rest at home unexpectedly on Saturday, December 2. He was 67 years old.
Richard was born in Somerville and lived in Everett for most of his life. He worked for many years for the Massachusetts State Lottery as a lottery sales agent having retired a few short years ago. Richard was also very active in Everett politics serving currently on the Everett School Committee, holding the positions of Chairman and Vice-Chairman on different occasions.
He was the beloved and devoted husband of the late Linda M. (Quartarone).Baniewicz for over 40 years; son of the late Henry F. and Lillian Baniewicz, dear and devoted brother of Henry “Rookie” Baniewicz of Lynn, Dennis and his wife, Diane Baniewicz of Yarmouth and John Baniewicz. Richie is also survived many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours in the Cafasso & Sons Funeral Home, 65 Clark St. (Corner of Main St.) Everett today, Wednesday, December 6 from 4 to 8 p.m. p.m. His funeral will be held from the funeral home on Thursday at 9 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass in the Immaculate Conception Church, 487 Broadway, Everett at 10 a.m. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett. William D. “Donald” Vacheresse of Everett died on November 22.
He was the loving father of Ashley Vacheresse, beloved son of Susan (Fuller) Vacheresse and the late Raymond, brother of Michelle, Scott and Rebecca Vacheresse and uncle of Elan Pinault and Jeffrey Vacheresse.

Maria “Grace” (Mattuchio) Mitchell of Everett entered into rest on November 29 at home surrounded by her loving and caring family.
Grace loved her family and enjoyed many happy times at her summer home at Sunset Park. She was always ready to travel with her favorite destinations being Foxwoods and Las Vegas. She will be missed by many and forgotten by none.
The beloved wife of Jim Mitchell, she was the devoted mother of Christine Robinson and her husband, Philip of Tewksbury and Jim Mitchell Jr. and his wife, Carrie of Merrimack, NH; loving grandmother to Eric and Logan Singleton, Jake, Brett and Maris Mitchell; sister of Lou Mattuchio and his wife, Jean, John Mattucchio and his wife, Leslie, Bob Mattuchio and his wife, Haysha and Kay McKinley and her husband, Joe; loving sister-in-law to Carol Robinson and her husband, Rob, Joe Mitchell and niece to George Mitchell. She was preceded in death by her parents Louis and Josephine Mattuchio, sister Jo-Ann Summa, sister-in-law Carole Mattuchio and her cherished pet, Patches. Albert DeVito
101 years old
Albert DeVito of Melrose, formerly of Everett, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, November 30 in the Aberjona Nursing Facility in Winchester after a brief illness. He was 101 years old.
Born in Boston, Al lived in Everett for most of his life before settling in Melrose with his daughter, Terri and her family. He worked for many years at the Quincy Shipyard and later at the MIT Draper Laboratories as an electronic technician. Al was also a professional chauffeur for many years for Technology Garage, Inc. He was an avid Boston Red Sox fan.
He was the beloved husband of the late Dorothy (Iagallo) for over 75 years, dear and devoted father of Teresa Dunleavy and her late husband, J. Kevin of Melrose and the late Ronald DeVito and his surviving wife, Eleanor Halas; brother of Guido DeVito and his wife, Rose of Tewksbury and the late Joseph, Arthur, Jillio, Frank and Fanny DeVito, Catherine Fosso, Barbara Constantino and Natalie Remillard; loving “Papa” of Kristine Holloran and her husband, Timothy and Lisa Leo and her husband, Joseph and loving “Great-Papa” of Brendan, Samantha, Madison and Olivia Holloran and Joseph and Sean Leo. Adrien Lussier
Crew Chief USCGM and Captain of the hydrographic survey vessel, Keegan for the US Army Corps of Engineers, member of Masonic Lodge Everett/Melrose
Adrien B. Lussier of Everett passed away suddenly on November 25. He was 46 years old.
Adrien graduated from MassBay College with a degree in science and was a Crew Chief, USCGM and the Captain of the hydrographic survey vessel, Keegan, for the US Army Corps of Engineers. He was a Freemason member of the Masonic Lodge Everett/Melrose.
The beloved husband of Nancy Cianchetta, he was the loving son of Crystal Lussier and her companion, Bill Cox and Adrien R. Lussier and his wife, Marie Lussier; loving father of Jillian M. Lussier; loving brother of Mary Engle, Michael and Michelle Lussier; loving son in law of Marion Smith and loving brother in law of Antoinette Cianchetta. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Lois Navarro
Of Everett
Lois A. Navarro of Everett died on November 27 at the age of 57.
Since 2006, Lois was employed at the Capuano Pre-K School, Somerville.
She was the daughter of the late Antonia Navarro and loving sister of Lisa A. Navarro and is also survived by many loving friends.
