Mayor Carlo DeMaria wishes to thank Ella DiPrima for her work on making the POW/ MIA Memorial
Stone, located at the Everett Stadium, a reality. The Memorial Stone was recently unveiled on homecoming day. In conjunction, with Superintendent Foresteire, the Everett School Committee, and the Veterans Commission, DiPrima was essential in helping to organize and construct the Memorial Stone. The 7-foot granite stone has the symbols representing the five branches of the United States Military and the names of nine Everett residents who died while serving in Vietnam. “I want to thank Ella for working tirelessly and being determined to make this memorial a reality,” states Mayor DeMaria, “Her selfless dedication is a monument to all.”
