Frank Dasaro

Retired US Customs Service agent

Frank C. Dasaro of Spring Hill, Florida, formerly of Everett, passed away on Saturday, April 9 surrounded by his loving family. He was 59 years old.

Frank graduated from Pope John High School, Everett in 1974 and continued his formal education at Northeastern University in Boston, attaining a BS in Criminal Justice in 1979. He later received his MBA. He started his career with the U.S. Customs Service as a co-op student in Washington, D.C. and retired after 30 years of service as the Assistant Special Agent in Charge in Tampa, FL. During his illustrious career, Frank received numerous awards and commendations; but most importantly he earned the respect and admiration of all those with whom he worked.

Frank is survived by his parents Frank and Roseann Dasaro of Everett, his loving wife and soul mate of 34 years, Vanessa Carlin Dasaro; his children, Anthony Dasaro of Weymouth, Eric and Adele Dasaro and Melissa and Joseph Ficarrotta, all of Spring Hill, FL; his grandchildren Landon Dasaro, Alexis, Morgan and Adriana Ficarrotta; his sister and brother, Nancy Dasaro and her husband, Kerry Conner of Lynn, and Robert Dasaro of Everett; sister-in-law Pamela and Ian Barker of North Charleston, NC; nephews Carlin Epling, Dale Epling and Nicholas Goodwin and many loving aunts, uncles and cousins.

Florida arrangements were entrusted to the Downing Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Florida. Local visiting hours will be held on Friday, April 22 at 10 a.m. at the Immaculate Conception Church, 489 Broadway, Everett.
