Megan Zukowski, Olivia Piarazala, Kayla Rossi, Bridget Gonzalez and Celest Fuccillo hold their Ella’s Army bracelets up in he air during last Thursday night’s double-header for girls’ and boys’ basketball – the season finale. The game also represented a more serious moment, as it was the ‘Tide Against Cancer Night,’ in which Ella O’Donnell, daughter of Everett Police Officer Denny O’Donnell, was recognized for her courageous battle with cancer. Those at the game purchased wristbands to support Ella’s treatment and encourage her by proclaiming themselves members of ‘Ella’s Army.’
