Emma King-Petruzzi

Nurse’s Aide

Emma R. (Colon) King-Petruzzi of Malden entered into rest at home surrounded by her loving family on  November 13. She was 75 years old.

Born in Coamo, Puerto Rico, Emma resided in Malden for most of her life. A nurse’s aide by profession, Emma cared for and assisted many patients in the local area.

She was the beloved wife of Arthur E. King, Jr.; dear and devoted mother of Denise M. Sarnie and her husband, Michael of Windham, NH, Eduardo and Mary Mejias and Louis Petruzzi and his wife, Deborah; sister of Bernardo and Martha Colon and the late Olga Riviera and Claudi Garcia; loving grandmother of Raquel B. Mejias, Eduardo G. Mejias, Victoria L. and Nate Krikorian, Charles C. Sarnie and Michael E. Sarnie and great-grandmother of Giovanna and Klhoe Krikorian. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Jerry Bartolo

Of Woburn, formerly of Everett

Jerry J. Bartolo of Woburn, formerly of Everett, entered into rest on November 16 in the Monarch Homes in Woburn. He was 90 years old.

A US Navy veteran of World War II, Jerry was born in Everett and lived in Everett for most of his life. He was a maintenance machinist by profession having worked at the Schrafft’s Candy Company and Sweetheart Paper Company for many years.

He was the beloved husband for over 62 years of the late Sally D. (Mulkerin);  dear and devoted father of Gerald M. Bartolo of Everett, Michael T. Bartolo and his wife, Maureen of Woburn and the late John R. Bartolo; brother of Alfred and Richard and the late Joseph, Arthur, Angelina and Ruby Bartolo; loving “Grampy” of Gerald, Jr., Vanessa, Bridget, Maeve, Nora and David Bartolo.

Funeral arrangements were by the Cafasso & Sons Funeral Home, Everett. Interment, with military honors were at Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.

Mary Dunn

Loved for her quick wit, straightforward talk and warm smiles

Mary (Corcoran) Dunn of Lynnfield, formerly of Everett, dued recently. She was 94 years old.

The cherished wife of the late Daniel Noel Dunn, she was the loving mother of Mary Elizabeth, John M., Daniel N. and his wife, Paula, and the late Patricia; caring grandmother to Caryn Marie and great grandmother to her children, Ronin and Liam and grandmother to Danielle and Jeff Melo. She was the devoted aunt to many nieces and nephews and an affectionate friend to many. Mary was the daughter of the late Martin and Bridget Corcoran, beloved sister of the late Eleanor Cunningham, Josephine Corcoran, and Claire O’Hearn. She is survived by her two sisters, Phyllis McLean and Margaret (Patsy) O’Brien of Everett.

There are no words to describe how much this vibrant, caring and loving woman will be missed. She truly was loved by many for her quick wit, straightforward talk and warm smiles.

Funeral arrangements were by the JF Ward Funeral Home, Everett. Interment was in Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
