Mary Cafasso

Of Malden, formerly of Everett

Mary M. (Rufo) Cafassi of Malden entered into rest on June 21 in the Chelsea Jewish Nursing Home. She was 95 years old.

Born in Malden, Mary lived in Everett for many years. Later on in life, Mary moved back to Malden where she has resided ever since.

She was the beloved wife of the late Orlando Joseph Cafasso; dear and devoted mother of Joseph M. Cafasso and Gail A. Cafasso of Malden; sister of the late Orient, Anthony, Joseph and Pepino Rufo.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Mary’s visiting hours in the Cafasso & Sons Funeral Home, 65 Clark St. (Corner of Main St.) Everett today, Wednesday, June 24 from 3 to 7 p.m. A funeral home service will be held on Thursday at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett. Loraine Dean

Owned Keyboard Korner

Loraine (Birmingham) Dean of Everett passed away on June 19. She was 68 years old.

Loraine was the late owner of Keyboard Korner and a former member of the Everett Rotary Club.

She was the devoted wife of Frederick Dean; beloved daughter of the late Francis E. and Mary A. (Olsen) Birmingham; dear niece of Thelma Corkum of Peabody and Louise Birmingham of Boston and is also lovingly survived by many cousins including Patricia Robichaud, Roberta Schankweiler and Joan LeBlanc, all of Peabody and Sr. Mary Olsen of Boston.

Concetta ‘Connie’ Rega

Long time employee of Malden Knitting Mills

Concetta “Connie” (Lombardi) Rega of Everett, formerly of Malden, died peacefully after a period of declining health on June 11 surrounded by the family she loved so dearly. She was 76 years old.

Born in Boston, Connie lived in Malden for many years before settling in Everett. She was a knitter by profession, having worked in the Malden Knitting Mills for many years.

The beloved wife of the late Luigi “Louie” Rega, she was the loving mother of Donna Crowe and her husband, James of Everett; sister of Anthony Lombardi of Everett, Domenic Lombardi of Melrose, formerly of East Boston and the late Michael and Joseph Lombardi; dear and devoted grandmother of Danielle Crowe and Jessica Denoncourt of Haverhill and Christina and Brian Carmody of Rowley and loving great-grandmother of Isabella and Brian Carmody. She was the sister-in-law of Marie Rega of Revere.

She will be lovingly remembered and forever cherished.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Cafasso & Sons Funeral Home, Everett. Interment was in Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden. Retired plumber

Cesarino Francescon of Everett entered into rest on June 16 at his daughter’s home in Peabody. He was 82 years old.

Born in Latisanotta, Undine, Italy, Cesarino lived in Everett for many years and was a plumber by profession.

He was the beloved husband of Lidia (Martinello); dear and devoted father of Luisa Silva and her husband, Adam and Paola Dascoli and her husband, Robert, all of Peabody; brother of the late Francesco Francescon and loving Nonno of Cristina and Jacqueline Silva and Domenic Dascoli.

Funeral arrangements were by the Cafasso & Sons Funeral Home, Everett. Interment was in Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett. Contributions in Cesarino’s memory to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701, would be sincerely appreciated
