The new Boston Harley dealership in Revere’s Copeland Circle is slated to open on Nov. 29. The long-time Everett location closed up last Thursday, Nov. 20.
The Boston Harley Davidson sales and service mega-store on Revere Beach Parkway closed last week in it’s planned move to Revere’s Copeland Circle.
The Revere store plans to open on Nov. 29 – Black Friday. The Everett store officially closed on Thursday, Nov. 20.
For years, the only Harley dealership in the immediate vicinity has called the Parkway home – after having moved from Roslindale many years ago. Known by its characteristic mammoth U.S. flag and its constantly busy showroom and service center, the location will now be a much-coveted hole in the Parkway business district.
“We wish the Harley-Davidson company much luck in their new location in Revere. We look forward to filling the vacancy on the Parkway with another business that will be just as appealing to residents and just as active in our community,” said Mayor Carlo DeMaria.
Meanwhile, Harley folks told a crowd of Revere business leaders last Friday that they are excited about its new multi-million dollar facility on Copeland Circle in Revere.
“This facility will allow us to do things in Revere we weren’t able to do at our previous location in Everett,” said Ariel Andrews, director of marketing for the store. “One example is our Harley-Davidson Riding Academy that we will have in Revere and that we already have at our Seacoast New Hampshire location. We couldn’t do that in Everett, but we’ll be able to offer that in Revere.”
In addition, the Revere location will offer climate-controlled storage, motorcycle rentals, and 10 certified technicians working on 22 lifts.
The location is part of a $14 million redevelopment of a once-struggling strip mall that contained Johnnie’s Foodmaster.
